Mercy Manor is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Here's our current standing, and what we'll publish as the ministry grows.
Where we stand today
Draft — confirm exact figures, EIN publication decision, and 990 filing status with Sharon/board before publishing
Mercy Manor's 501(c)(3) determination has been granted. As a newly formed public charity in its startup phase, Mercy Manor has not yet filed its first Form 990 or been evaluated by third-party charity raters such as Charity Navigator, GuideStar/Candid, or the ECFA. We will publish each of these the moment they exist — not manufacture the appearance of them before they do.
How gifts are used right now
Currently, donor gifts fund the work of preparing the secured facility to open: renovation, furnishing, staffing preparation, and program development. Once the home is operating, we will publish a clear breakdown of program versus administrative spending, consistent with standard nonprofit financial reporting.
Governed by a real board
Mercy Manor is governed by an active board with direct experience in recovery programming, victim advocacy, and law enforcement. Meet the board →
