Six months. On purpose.

Structure long enough to actually take root.

Real change doesn't happen in 28 days. Mercy Manor's program runs six months, built around four things done every single day: prayer, counsel, skill, and work.

The four pillars, every day
๐Ÿ™

Prayer & Bible Study

Daily time grounded in scripture โ€” not an add-on to recovery, but the foundation of it.

๐Ÿ’ฌ

Biblical Counseling

One-on-one and group counseling addressing the trauma underneath the addiction, not just the addiction itself.

๐Ÿงญ

Life Skills

Budgeting, parenting, healthy relationships, conflict โ€” the practical footing many women were never taught.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Work-Therapy

Real responsibility inside the home, building the discipline and confidence a rรฉsumรฉ alone can't give her.

The six months, at a glance

What changes, phase by phase

Draft phase structure โ€” confirm exact program design with Sharon before publishing

Weeks 1โ€“4 ยท Stabilize

Safety and structure first

A woman arrives, settles into the home's routine, and begins counseling. The goal isn't transformation yet โ€” it's simply steadiness: sleep, food, safety, and a predictable day.

Months 2โ€“3 ยท Rebuild

Counseling and life skills deepen

Trauma work begins in earnest alongside practical life-skills training. Work-therapy responsibilities grow as trust and stability grow.

Months 4โ€“5 ยท Strengthen

Looking outward again

Preparation for life after Mercy Manor begins โ€” employment readiness, rebuilding family relationships where appropriate, and a concrete plan for housing after graduation.

Month 6 ยท Send

Graduation and aftercare

A woman graduates with a plan, a support system, and an open door back to Mercy Manor's community โ€” not a hard cutoff the day she leaves.

Questions we're asked most

Common questions

Who is this program for?

Adult women with a sincere desire to change, coming out of addiction, trauma, homelessness, or exploitation. It is not a court-ordered placement or a facility for women who are not voluntarily seeking change.

What does it cost her to stay?

Draft โ€” confirm fee structure (if any) with Sharon before publishing

Program cost details are being finalized ahead of opening. Mercy Manor's mission is to make this program accessible regardless of a woman's ability to pay โ€” which is exactly why donor support matters.

Can she stay in contact with her children or family?

Draft โ€” confirm family-contact policy with Sharon before publishing

Family relationships, including with children, are addressed individually as part of a woman's counseling and case plan.

What happens after the six months?

Every woman graduates with an aftercare plan and a continued connection to Mercy Manor's community โ€” graduation is a transition, not a goodbye.

Is this a medical detox program?

No. Mercy Manor is not a medical detox facility or psychiatric treatment program. If medical detox is needed first, our team will help point toward that care.
